Using a guide for every dental implant case can be costly. This is one of several reasons why approximately 95 percent of dental implant surgeries are performed without a guide. And in 2014, the American Dental Association released a study citing that out of 922 implants placed across 87 different practices, 18.7 percent of implants placed were classified as failures!
